A look at the ATX® 2-in-1 PecFly / Rear Delt PEC-650:
Like many ATX pieces, this is a lovely thought out machine with great attention to small details. I particular like the purpose-made angled rotating handles, which feel a dream. I usually retrofit a pair of Globe Gripz onto a pec flye or rear delt in order to get the perfect “feel”, but it’s not necessary on this machine. I, also, really like the band attachment to alter the strength curve, as I find the start-position is often the limiting factor with a Pec Flye/ Rear Delt, whereas this will allow for more weight where it’s sometimes desired.
Sadly though, being plate-load, it’s one really for the home/ garage gym user or PT. Despite this, it feels so good that I’m still tempted to put it in our own gym (showroom). I’d very much like to see this machine in a stack-weight for use in a club environment, so hopefully that’s something we see in the future from ATX.
