Following on from the short description, above, a standout change is the height-adjustment. While we considered this overkill, when you could use a chain to adjust the height, it’s surprising how easy-to-use it is and how often you do use it. Much like changing the height on a dual-adjustable pulley to best suit your exercise selection or user height, the LSW-850 affords the exact same. So, it’s a refinement on the old Lat Pulldown/ Low Row design that we rather like.
The above also helps cater, alongside an open top pulley, for exercises like Face Pulls from the top pulley…this setup also leads to the Trinity name reference, albeit 3-in-1 is a stretch, it’s predominanty a Lat Pulldown/ Seated Row (2-in-1) with a trick up it’s sleeve. A superb one though!
The stack is on a 1:1 pulley ratio (typical of a lat pulldown/ seated row) and has a 135kg stack. More load can be added, using separate add-on weights or loading pins, upto 180kg (tested).
Having tried the LSW-850 thoroughly, one of my biggest compliments is that I’m looking forward to getting it in our own gym/ showroom (@thegym) and will be making space 😀
